Cancelation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

A Time to Heal Massage Therapy requires a 24 hour advance notice when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a massage either online or through communication to a staff member. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. If you reschedule the missed appointment at the time of your cancelation, you will be charged for half of the canceled appointment. If you miss the following appointment as well, you will be charged in full for both missed appointments.

No appointments can be booked online within a 12 hour window prior to the appointment start time. This is to ensure your therapist is both aware and prepared for all appointments. You may still, however, call to book a same-day appointment, and if there are any available, staff will work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.

For any cancelations, best effort will be made to contact the client for the first 48 hours, including phone calls and emails. If payment is not arranged within those 48 hours, or a new appointment is not rescheduled, the credit card on file will be charged for your missed appointment[s]. 

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will determine if there is enough time remaining to start your massage. Regardless of the length of the massage actually given, you will be responsible for the full amount of the session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Therapist cancelation

In the event that your therapist becomes ill, has an emergency, or otherwise cannot make your session, every effort will be made to rebook as soon as possible for your convenience, and $10 will be credited to you to use at your leisure in appreciation of your understanding.

*This especially applies to any sessions that need to be rebooked if one of a doula client goes into labor and your therapist is supporting the delivery at the time of your scheduled appointment. You will be notified at least one hour prior to your appointment start, if this is the case.
